
Our lives are filled with beauty and miracles everyday. In each moment, we can make a decision toward unbounded abundance, serenity and a healthy body. The very word, "relax" comes from the latin word, "relaxare" or "relaxatus" which means to stretch out, widen, open, to loosen, to release, set free, to cheer up, to mitigate.
These are simple, everyday 'dtress-busters' that can help us bring balance to our lives. The invitation of yoga and meditation into your life can be powerful tools for the maintenance of stress-relief, inner peace and balance. Some of my favorite "Stress-Busters" include, spending time walking along the ocean shore even in Winter; quietly reading in your sacred place at home; on a busy day, take the time to walk rather than jumping in to a taxi or bus; take a stroll down a wooden lane on brisk Fall day; pick up a paintbrush and start dabbling on a blank canvas; spend time with children who will remind you to laugh out loud and take moment to listen to the sound of your own breath while you bathe.
These accessible, effective exercices might help you restore harmony and find joy in everyday life and will set you upon that most wordrous journey of all - on a path returning yourself to Spirit.
